Hey guys, I have a few questions about external HDDs. What are external enclosures? Are they just the case that provides data link/power to the HDD, meaning that I have to buy a normal 3.5" and plug it into the enclosure then plug that into my PC? Any recommendations on good external drive? 
HDD enclosures got many of types,some of juz enclosures.Some got lan HDD,firewire and etc functions.
