Actually, Tony Leung one is the best as it stayed closer to the books. Wai Siu Bo should be very young. If I am not mistaken he should be around 14 years old when starting.

The actors who was closest to that age was Tony Leung and Andy Lau. Their chemistry was the best too as they were quite similar in age. I think even the author, Louis Cha like that version the most.

Jordan Chan was too old for the character. Dicky Cheung was also too old but he got a baby face. Steven Chow version does not really follow the book. The China version all just not funny enough despite having the biggest budget.
