I'm using Ashampoo Burning Studio and in order to burn movies into a Video Dvd Format , the Folder must contain the necessary VOB, IFO and BUP files.

just use dvd creation software like nero, if you have vista it already has one dvd authoring software.

I tried using Windows DVD maker, the features are not too bad. But this is if you are using Windows Vista.

use nero, it is super easy to convert avi files to dvd video format.

I know, but isnt that just VCD format in DVD? I want something like where you can choose the chapter for it coz i'm burning series into a DVD where i can Play on a DVD home video player.

Yes, Nero is good. You can use it to create your DVD.
