Setia Awan registered an account on LPHS website using my NRIC. Now I can't log in coz the account is tied to their email. Reported to LPHS complaints email but never received any response. I could try asking Setia Awan to return my email nicely, but I think that some sort of action should be taken to prevent this from happening again. Thoughts, peeps?

Send a lawyer letter and viral it.

Did you sign any form during your visit to Setia Awan office ? Possible in one of the tnc, you authorised them to register on your behalf ?

Some rsku agents actually helped the customer to apply for units on lphs website. Did you request for it?

How they register like that?

I think I signed a form for a booking a unit but cancelled it, and they didn't mention about opening an account for me on LHPS. I didn't know that developers able to open accounts tied to your IC. If that is so, what if I chose another developer some day, would there be some problem that might arise, since neither me nor the other developer has access to the account?

Either viral or go LPHS office and settle it, developers and real estate ppl are mostly unscrupulous scums, their rice bowl is more important than your choices

If not mistaken, the LPHS application must be 'tied' to a project so that LPHS can process the qualification of the purchase.

Once approval given and you later cancel, you wont be eligible to apply again within two years.

On the assumption, you didnt cancel the booking if there is no LPHS approval, your booking is considered NO booking.

Is not a big issue and no bad intention by the developer. Ask them to change the email address.

Next time consider seriously b4 committing, else everybody time are wasted and you are lucky you didnt pay a deposit, else you will even have a tough time to request for a refund.
