Hello, yesterday while looking at my Kubrick I put inside a cabinet, I picked one up and found that the leg was still standing on the cabinet. My Metal Gear Solid 2 Solid Snake Kubrick had his leg broken! And it was kept secret. Thus I asked the possible culprits and was told that it dropped and broke the leg, and that these kind of thing shouldn't break. Pissed off, I threw 2 more kubricks down onto the floor, oh poor Olga and Otacon. Olga broke one of her legs just like Solid Snake did, just the other leg, and Otacon had his hair sent flying, but managed to survive without a scratch. Yes I just proved that Kubricks do break if they Fall.
So now I have 2 single legged kubricks standing in my cabinet, yes they are still standing. Anyway I plan to rebuy the full set but I tried to remove the Joint stucked inside the leg so I can glue the joint back to the body and put the legs back, but I have problem removing them because they are tight and deep. I'm thinking of cutting it up but before I do that is there any better way to do so? And no I did not regret throwing Olga onto the floor and break her leg because i just proved that Kubricks do break easily unlike Legoes. I just felt pitty having two broken Metal Gear Solid Kubricks standing there, totally worthless. |

Action City usually don't have much stock. Most are from pre-orders. You can get bearbrick from other forumers since it will be cheaper. If you go to the toy shop, the price is a lot higher. I went to shioktoys at the curve the other day. The price for bearbrick is too high.

Out of 9 secret that are available in Series 15, i am short of 3 Secret, which are Secret Horror, Secret Brook and Secret Swagger. and also basic K and B.

actually, I picked up a great idea from the Nike Windrunner + be@rbrick contest.
If I get duplicates, I want to modify/redesign them to be a customised be@rbrick by Ivan Lim. For example, the current S15 flag can be modified to be the vietnamese flag. Just have to paint off the China flag and add a big star on the be@rbrick tummy. Will look like those vietnamese t-shirts! Anyway, who has an extra S14 basic for me? ok, I went to AC yesterday to try luck again.
Now I've got almost the complete set. Still lacking the Andy Warhol Artist. Can you believe I got the other artist 3 times??? Also got the SF hidden. So yesterday's haul: jelly bean, horror, cute, SF hidden, Artist 4%, Flag Also bought the jelly belly blueberry. Any idea how to take out the jelly beans without spoiling the packaging? Thanks. |

I Just started collecting bearbrick...so far I bought 5 boxes of s15 and I manage to get Horror, Cute, Flag and Andy Warhol x 2. Jsut wanted to know is there like a fix price for buying/selling loose bearbrick? I might sell my 2nd Andy Warhol or maybe trade something else for it. Any help would be much appreciated |

Price is determined by the rarity of it. Just see the % of the bear. Andy warhol will be more expensive as it is 1%.

just wondering, when is the ELVIS BEARBRICK will be out in Malaysia, paid deposit in January 08, now so looking forward to it. by the way, was in Singapore last week, went to earth x shop in far east plaza and bought myself 100% Peach John Bearbrick, if I was there a bit later, I could have gotten the UNDFTD. I know that wat i paid is slightly more expensive if i bid from ebay.

hey guys, i'm a newbie here. but really really interested in collecting bearbricks. where do you guys get information about all the new bearbricks and those coming soon?
i'm quite confused right now. if lets say Series 16. how many pieces of bearbricks is there in series 16? someone please guide me and give more informations about bearbricks. and those bearbrick elvis and darkknight and sort of, is from what series? and now currently till what series adi? and 1 case consist of how many bearbricks? and they are 100%? i read in wiki they say 18 pieces. but i see some pics only have 10/11 pieces. |

If u have refer to the previous post, there is 1 pepsi and movie series of bearbricks. Those are 70% if im not mistaken. For 400%, it is about 28cm height. For example, I assume u mean a case of the series bearbrick. A case contains 24 small boxes of Bearbricks. Yes, they are 100%. U wouldn't know what's inside a box unless u open it. So, this is the fun thing for collecting bearbricks. U need to 'tikam'... well, i used to be a bearbrick collector la.. but my collection is small oni.. mostly 100%... only have 2 400%... |

Dear fellow kubrick/bearbrick people, may I ask anyone know how to open the box without causing any damage?
I recently bought 2 special kubricks, and the box are already open, the transparent glue still intact with one side of the box but the box is 100% perfect, no crease or whatever on the side without glue. I asked the seller he say he don't know, so does heating the box with hairdryer works? I believe they use those glue gun type glue. Added on November 13, 2009, 7:50 pmrm99 for all 4 or just 1 pair? i display in ikea detolf but everytime i take them out the rest follow to drop.....very frustrating.....blister board is good idea but i have 500 bearbrick on hand n if 1 blister cost rm150 total will b rm1500 pokai lor like that haha....no other way to display nicely meh?
