sorry haven't been following this thread much, which device do you have ?

and your SOT is 8h+ but top 4 app is around 4h. What else do you think drains the battery ?

asking as looking to upgrade, but if this is the batt performance may think twice. Currently using Note 9 and even on a 2h Zoom call with video on WiFi, drops around 20% - 30% ... so based on your screenshot SOT is not much difference.

looking at getting a 512GB Samsung S23+

is there a "best deal" out there to get it ? Looked at Samsung and SenHeng website but both were RM5199 + Free Watch5

with SenHeng I can just walk in without waiting for shipping

I can't find it either. Only see the promo for McD ice cream, Samsung stick vaccum etc

Using Note9 just in case it's phone specific tongue.gif

but I think I've made up my mind to get the S23 Plus. Haven't bought the phone but ordered the Spigen Liquid Air Case already, and was wondering if anyone had suggestion for privacy screen protector ?

ordered a S23+ from samsung.com a week ago, today still "processing"

any idea how long this usually takes ? physical store didn't have green so thought I may as well order online while waiting for spigen case to arrive.

case even arrived 3 days ago.

I ordered the one without this message. It took 10 days to reach my door step. I have to keep calling and ask them to update the status.
Make sure "order placed" must be reflected. Else they take years to process.

I asked them why 'order placed' not reflected (just see 'processing') on day 4th .. then only they said they glitch issue... the moment they fixed the glitch.. then I can see progress everyday.

so got my S23+ after 15 days of ordering from Samsung.com. Spigen case from Lazada official store took 4 days as a comparison , both ordered within 30 minutes of each other... and I'm in Sarawak.

Still using my Note9 as daily phone, pending my procrastination to migrate over to the S23+. Have installed some of the apps and currently using for fun (netflix, youtube, browsing), but IMHO apart from the longer lasting battery there's really not much difference that I can tell from the Note 9 ?

Or am I missing something ?

haha I think I used a S6 before Note9, the difference was big then.

UI surprisingly some of the menu options have slightly different name. Is there a way to select screen resolution in S23+ ? Can't seem to find that option.

Didn't want to change phone but Note 9 battery is dying .... usually have to top up by 5pm.

Honestly, speed feels the same. I have animations turned off, and rarely game on phone. Might give PUBG a go and see if there's any difference.

Meaning I'll have 2 phones on the same DiGi number.

any suggestion for LED notification app ?

miss having a small blink to show if phone is charging or any WhatsApp / missed call etc without going close to the phone.

S23+ user, can't remember when it started but it seems after restarting the phone (hold power button and press restart) the phone will reboot, show the samsung logo and off the screen ? I'll then need to wake the screen and unlock the phone before it starts up fully.

is this the norm ? if I don't unlock the phone after restarting I won't get Whatsapp notification / phone calls even if I leave it there for 5 minutes+ , but pre-set alarm works.

recently revived my Note 9 to pass down as a spare phone and compared to my daily S23+ , the Note 9 feels more responsive, nicer screen (same wallpaper on both phones). Somehow the 6.4" Note 9 screen also feels bigger (fits more content in) than 6.6" S23+.

just a random observation how a older phone feels better.
