Is there any way to prevent screen from waking up every time a SMS notification comes in? Can't seem to find the option to do so through the Messages app or even in general notification settings.

Notification pop-up style set to Detailed or Brief doesn't make a difference.

Yes. Confirmed warm but not hot. Sammy should withdraw the previous March OTA and re-patch ASAP....

The heat continues even after "Wipe cache partition" two (2) times both in "Standard" and "Light" Performance Profile....

Those who have not updated, ignore the March OTA....
*
Mine is fine thou, I've never wipe cache partition ever. No warm no lag no delay.

March OTA has improved deep sleep stand-by drain ... 0.6% per hour rate is considered good...

You alot notification isit? It all depends on the type of aod la.
Mine is quite simple , so yeah.
But I'm super used to glancing at it to know my notification.

I tried tap to activate, one day only I go back to normal aod haha

All non-WearOS will have good battery life becoz lack of functionalities and features... AmazFit will give us more than 2 weeks if want excellent battery life on wearables...
*

What function and feature you want on a smart watch? Feel like sometime we gotta be practical.
Steps, heart rate, notification is basically all you need.
If into fitness, then a good GPS tracking and all good.

Quick-Reply WhatsApp messages and emails (eg. "OK", "Yes", "No", "I'm driving", "On my way", etc), receive/make calls, health (BP and ECG), safety (i.e. Fall detection), "OK Google" assistant for Smart Home Kits... and Samsung Pay (the primary reason).... also local support from Samsung Service Centres ...

Watch face also packed with functionalities and features at "a tap" and can be customized further... thanx to WearOS....

30 minutes charge (while shower and preps) will get 80% energy supply.... thanx to the 10W wireless puck...

If meow is Garmin' s CEO, meow will create/diversify Garmin Smartwatch series to run WearOS as a backup in order to stay relevant in the wearable market.... those Tim Team Apple eco-system, definitely won't get the Garmin wearable as Apple Watch is getting better every single year.... so, better diversify to Android-based rather than proprietary OS....
*
Quick reply Garmin have, Pay have Garmin Pay. Health Also have. Ok Google I have Google nest for it which don't need to be charge or bothered once set. Garmin charge less than 30min can use 1-2 weeks.

So yeah. I would say battery life is the most important thing for a smart watch. But again different user different style.

i don't understand the hoo-hahs, I have both the 65W charger and 45W charger, and the time taken to charge my device is the same

65W charger for 45W (USB-C1, PPS) has 3 modes:
11V * 3.5A = 38.5W
16V * 2.8A = 44.5W
20V * 2.25A = 45W

45W charger has 1 mode (PPS):
20V * 2.25A = 45W
*
Alot of ppl already say
25/45/65/100w same same+-15%

If you charge from say 10% then you see the difference.
The higher the power the slower it charge.

Turning off auto sync does improve battery life tremendously.haha

Having a smartphone that doesn't sync kinda defeats the purpose thou...
Maybe during special occasion where you won't have access to a power brick maybe.

yeah, much much expensive

for less than 500 bucks, u get galaxy watch 4, which is still ok and fine, full feature,  got body composition and blood pressure measurement,  gps, standalone music player, tons of apps

google fit doesnt tell alot , they dono what to do with ur sleep patterns

galaxy health/watch can record ur snores, lol

u just need to charge 1 per day ,which is very easy since the charger stick magnetically , u go shower do u thing, change and forget it

remember,  its less than 500 bucks, standalone mp3 player from sony cost almost like that

Guess the battery life thing does irks me haha

I went to Ninja to ask for tempered glass for the S23 Ultra, and they quoted me RM69! Then I asked for normal hydrogen, and they quoted me RM59! . Rediculous.  Why do expensive phones cost more for the same thing? Padahal it only cost RM15 for my previous phone.

Shouldn't up the price because it's new phone!
*
Curve screen always is expensive. That's the only thing I don't like about this phone. Tbh pretty sure if it's flat, this model sales will be 20% more lmao. Curve screen is premium tax. Fragile, more area prone to crack, harder to apply sp, sp easier to kena casing etc etc.
There's absolutely nothing a curve can do that a flat can't, MAYBE slightly better hand feel that's it.
