Just wanted to share, recently needed to format a USB, and I tried using s23 ultra and tab s9 but both couldn't do it.
I then used a cheap infinix phone I had lying around and that cheap phone could format my USB.
Dumbfounded.
Edit: the USB was in NTFS, now that it's in a filesystem the Samsung is familiar (probably exFAT, it can be formatted)

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Dec 20 2024, 09:15 AM) Easy... just because Samsung refused to pay money to license NTFS from MSFT. When you are a small unknown company, they probably would not mind paying small fee to license NTFS (or maybe they did not license them and just use it anyway since MSFT probably wouldnt care if a small company is abusing them). Samsung sells tens of millions of phones so every cent counts. Interesting, anyways just avoid NTFS and you should be okay.

QUOTE(swanchew @ Jan 2 2025, 12:52 PM) Flagship phone so fragile? The water won't go in within 30mins unless.. they misleading by saying is IP68. My s23 ultra back plate is slowly peeling off (coming off), maybe cause I drop the phone a few times This post has been edited by jonthebaptist: Jan 2 2025, 01:29 PM

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jan 2 2025, 02:58 PM) I dont know about your usage, but for me, when I was using S9+ (before warranty ended), I already feel the back cover lifting and have gaps that moved when I pressed on the area. For me, I think my usage of gaming and then fast charging 2-3 times everyday contribute to this problem. Thus now I buy FE and then have another gaming phone. For comparison, my wife S8+ (screen replaced on 15th month due to screen turning b&w) and charge every 1-2 days still have decent gap to this day. She upgraded to S23u last year. Gaming? Yes exactly how you describe, if press the back you can feel the back plate go up and down. I don't do gaming on the s23 ultra, but could be battery expanded, usually that's the case in my experience.

QUOTE(touristking @ Feb 15 2025, 10:29 AM) The other no-name clear ones I am using for a year is also still OK. So I think they are all more or less the same. No name brands ok, and you can't go wrong cause so cheap like this I was just suggested on my timeline. https://shopee.com.my/product/82080415/25901566560
