I've seen many videos comparison saying battery life if S23 Ultra is best in android phone and almost comparable to Iphone 14 pro max but somehow mine just average. How to know what cause it? I run diagnostics in settings and nothing seems out of the order. Only manage to get around 4-5 hours of SOT

what apps u use most of the time?

i seen someone report even 10 sot , benchmark at utube, all indicated should be one of the best battery android offer, really surprised for u both

no aod. as i can always double tap to open screen.
battery on light mode... tested no diff performance then standard..
1440p reso..
never use battery saving mode..  off.
wifi, data, location, bluetooth, dolby, spen, nearby share, quickshare... all kasi on.
on dark mode. tested on normal.. seem no diff.... so back to dark mode.

I think s23u battery is good. I'm not sure if it's better than ip14 pro max.

Usage: Just a few seconds of game time on this charge cycle, mostly just light usage only.

Edit: Protect Battery ON. So if I charge up to 100%, I might get 8-9 SOT

Mine drain quite fast from 50 to 40%.within 5 minutes.called samsung care plus but they dont entertain.asked to go service centre as it is under manufacturer warranry

Go back and ask for compensation for my repair bill, and fill my dissatisfaction. Haha.. Anyhow, I'm not asking them to compensate me for the glue-tempered glass (which cost me RM130). Scare already. better without any screen protectors. My Spigen case will do its job of protecting the glass. 

Yes salute The Mines Samsung Service Centre and dissatisfied with Pavalion ones. They (Pavilion) did not diagnose my phone at all.

I'm also getting just 5.5hrs SOT from 100% to 10%.
WQHD+, Light profile, Adaptive screen & battery.

All my apps into sleep except WhatsApp.
Email sync is on.
I can get around 3.30hrs from 100% to 50%.
But from 50% onwards, it drains quite fast.

BTW I received my S23U (Red) around last week of Feb.
Placed order on 19th Feb.
When did u receive urs?
Maybe ours same batch.

If you dont need accidental coverage, better go for KTS i-protect much better.

Samsung screen is no good .. s22 or s23. i believe having same problem. Better go for iphone.

x6 pro, not only 3x zoom, but the main camera, ultrawide camera also trash s23u. the clarity in the ultrawide cam is nuts.
the ultrawide and telephoto cameras are using the same sensor module found in oneplus 11's main camera. 1/1.56" IMX890.

it's a healthy competition, later phones trash older phones. sooner or later I'll see iphone 15 lineup trashes all of these phones including s23u not only on camera, perhaps also on CPU, GPU, software and overall ecosystem improvement like extremely seamless connection with pod, watch, apple tv and more. (side note: I also recently realised that iOS's QR code scanner is miles ahead of any other android's QR code scanning suite).
