How come you all keep getting green line while I'm still waiting for my first green line?

My wife S8+, my S9+, my dad S9+, S23U and S23FE. Still have a S6e that would work if I replaced the battery.

The only person who kena green line that I knew is my cousin. However what he did definitely contributed as he went into the shower with the phone bathing together everyday as if the phone was designed for such abuse.

Yesterday not sure why but my s23 ultra suddenly overheat while I watching YouTube. I quickly lowered the resolution to 1080p instead of 4K on YouTube, still was very hot, I then turned on power saving, the phone became cool again.

Not sure what happened but be careful your phone overheating might cause the green line issue. My phone never kena overheating like yesterday before.

as i know , only under warranty will be FOC , while after warranty , different month have different selected model , so really have to see your luck , but i heard that user stil need to pay RM86 for the labour charge.

so far my s22plus never in the list lol , i already left samsung and wont buy their flagship in future anymore 

Green line issues on any Samsung phone should be repaired for free even after warranty expires.

they should do investigate , as long as no scratch no drop no water damage , then offer free for replace.

Actually in my own opinion la , if samsung cant bear the full cost of replacement , i think alot of user will stil happy if they could give at least more than 50% discount on the replacement screen for user that used more than 2 year rather than just sit there do nothing.
samsung malaysia never think that they will lose more customer in future because more and more user not satisfy with the green line issues and keep on posting on social media , it will highly effect the person who wan to purchase samsung product.

s24 sure alot lagi , because that time not much previous user making noise for their green line , in 2024 , it highly effect especially the OTA update causes them green line , sampai thailand samsung mobile consumer build a group to sue samsung thailand , and the funny thing is , samsung india give FREE REPLACEMENT for all galaxy green line issues , if its not their fault , why bother to give free replacement?  U thought S24 user now no worry ke? S23 user also start worry already because S23 series already causes the green line.
Before this , people like me and you have to choose samsung included my wife ,  because google pixel is doing shit to their processor , only samsung consider most stable android phone with more complete package , but in 2023/2024 , china brand is chasing up , even MrWhoTheBoss given vivo x200pro the best battery / camera and overhall champion


Maybe people will thinking "Meh....china phone mana boleh guna?" , seriously , china phone is improve gradually , u know how many of Malay now jumpship to Vivo x200pro? Try to join few of the samsung & vivo group there , u will see more and more samsung user jumpship to other brand because of green line issue , malaysia wont just look at the chinese market la , because chinese spending is so little if compared to malay market , but u will susprised how HOT is the china phone now in those malay group , everyone is highly discuss in their group.
It just like how Toyota Camry , Honda Accord will slowly been aboden in the market in malaysia , everyone is focusing on Tesla , BYD or other china brand car , only UNCLE or OLD MAN loyal to Japanese brand  those will be history and slowly replace by other  (i talking about flagship ya , dont take VIOS CITY talk with it)

Yeah , many year ago they might be not so good , but i believe they have been improving over the year, i rarely heard vivo user complain about claiming warranty these day , if u look at vivo thread and fb group , alot of x70pro user (release on 2021 year) getting green line and they stil can be enjoy to get free replacement screen without needed to pay labour charge , that is 3 year old device 😅
