Latest unverified news from the FB group, they will now check whether you are the original owner. Only original owner can claim. If you buy used unit, cannot claim.

Lmao Samsung, it's like they didn't expect so many light saber cases that their service center are overwhelmed & now got new T&C. Only original owner can claim. GGWP those who buy second hand

That's what we say too. But not all place will check. If they reject due to this reason, just go to another Center.

Oh man, all the paranoid comments about Samsung OLEDs  despite being used widely by all high tier smartphone.

That's why don't take your phone into bath, swimming etc. Nothing last forever.

There's about 6 Samsung phones in my family (S22U/S23U/S23FE) and I have yet to see a single one failing. Not even the older S9+. The only failure was my wife S8+ screen which turned black and white (not light saber) and replaced under warranty. Still works like charm today.

Please la, if you lucky doesn't mean the oled no issue. Other suffer because of that, you here tell story like it is user issue.

Anyone here tried to send their devices through UR by Switch?
The proper Samsung SC is too far away for me, CS suggested sending it to UR instead. But I've never seen any feedback going through them...

Today I removed the rubber/silicone casing to change sim card, then realized the back cover of the phone is loose (can be taken out) as in the glue no more works. ie I can remove the back of my phone, surprise they use glue instead of clips or screws.

I checked with the Customer Service and they say it is normal for S23 Ultra for the back cover glue to stop workng. May I know anyone encountered this and how much to repair/glue back it in Samsung Service Center? If I put the phone back into casing it works normal as the casing holds the phone.

I am thinking of changing the battery too after using it 2.5 years. After running diagnostic the Battery status is Normal and Life is Good. Even though clearly the battery life somewhat shorten, ie need to change 2 or 3 times a day.

I am thinking maybe just go Service Center replace battery (quoted rm210) and get the back cover glued back. I might buy the upcoming Fold 7 or S26 Ultra next year, so this phone will be used as spare. Apart from the IP68 water leak potential if I don't change, any other issues if I don't change?

Seriously I think Samsung build quality really not there, last time Note 2 died on me. But andriod I have no choice unless I want to go iphone.... tough decision.

I juz got mine glue back on last Friday at Pavillion KL, it cost me RM100, and waited for 1 hour to get it done.
Personally I think better to get it glue back ASAP, who knows later kena water. So far I think my battery still OK, coz on the maximum battery protection since day 1, will only off it if I'm traveling.

That why i always say , dont fall into the 5 year 7 year update trap , u belum sampai 5 year 7 year , ur battery already cant tahan , at that time ur mind already looking for new phone.

Trust me , the new OS only good , better , fully optimize to new device , we have been so many year termakan the 4 year 5 year 7 year update OS , in fact our device getting older , wont suitable to pair with those new OS.

For me , max 2 major OS for the phone to running good and great user experience , more than this all was a lie.

The best and fully optimize OS was the OS that come out of box.

Yeah I went to Samsung Service Center despite their system saying still got stock, but the guy there cannot find it. So I paid full over rm217 for the battery to wait for stock. According to the technician a bit bulge (not sure if true) but the process is too troublesome so just change. The diagnostic shows Battery Life still Good.

May I know your phone needs to be reset? ie data, configuration all gone or intact? I told the guy I don't have backup so just change the battery and make sure data not reformat or wiped out.

My case, the technician said is just the glue problem, battery not swollen, then i just proceed with the glue back service.
Your RM 217 is including a new battery?

Yes include battery. With this change I think I will not change to Fold 7 or even S26 ultra unless the offer is really good. Probably with new battery can last me another 1.5 years to S27 ultra lol.
