Accidentally throw my phone on to ceramic tiled floor yesterday, immediately something's wrong with the touch screen (not accurate, needs to press down hard on the screen for the touch to register). However, no visible damage to the screen...

I cant even login into the device using pattern anymore, despite changing the sensitivity of the screen to high

So...this one definitely screen kaput?

I don really care if pixel got auto shifted or not,
As i use custom font, every number auto move few pixel,
but pixel shift does related to burn in protection?

Does green line issue anything to do with system software? Usually green line issue referring to hardware issue, display issue, correct me if im wrong, just curious 🤔🔥

If one is inexperienced, updating right away is usually the best option.

But if you're experienced, you’ll know that not every update is safe to install immediately.

Many of us use our phones for work. A new update could introduce bugs, cause issues, or even make the phone unusable.

That's why experienced users often wait and check feedback before updating.

Based on my experienced most of os updates will likely to cause faster battery drain, but I'm not sure on one os.. just own it...so gonna hear first from other owners before proceed with updating it

That's the best, waiting for the feedback, then later proceed with the update 😇🔥

Hahaha...

Depends. If you use more than 1PC at work, you want to disable Windows Update due to compatibility issues. Windows Update always include security updates which may or may not break your networking. Just recently, Microsoft introduced an update to guest login with W11 which broke the networking for many.

For phone, there is actually nothing much. The most important is online banking and nothing else. If one said their phone is too important to update, then they must be storing too much stuffs on their phone. You can just upload them to the cloud if you need fail safe.

Yeah, I hate most when being awaken from my slumber morning with networking or printer issue.

Phone updates are generally disappointing if anything. Gone are the days where they would introduce new features like wifi hotspot which could really make your day. Nowadays though, smartphone has reach the peak somewhat and is losing direction over where it should head next. Thats why all we see now is camera comparison which is laughable. Its kinda back to those Nokia days.

I would have thought by now that we should see some stronger integration in Android regarding how file sharing should work and be standardized instead of using the slow beam (fancy name for bluetooth). Allow users to share folders in networking with PC. Also sharing content on a wireless display and so on.

I hated Android updates. Nowadays, many banking sites using bio-metric. And after update, have to re-enter the passwords. Sometime forgotten and sometime found out at the most inconvenient time the need to do so.

Yet I still have to do updates because of possible security patching requirement.

Huawei new Harmony build new from the ground up. May be they will fix those issues. Once it has the apps I needed, may give it a try.
