Did not bother to charge my S23U, wake up 40%+ used it till 38%+ went out plus netflix while on the go, in the end now came back still got 18% left.

Ahhh hahahaha. I came from IPhone then I still prefers iPhone interface due to not use to Android. S23U however is an awesome android phone and I am very satisfied with it

I don't wanna side tracked this thread too much to iPhone 15. But from what I see, iPhone 15 is similar to S23U in term of both are the more mature and stable release of their own design language.

iPhone 15 Pro Max this round got 5x optical zoom, but S23U remain a serious contender with its 10x optical zoom. So apart of different ecosystem and maybe vary when comes to processor's performance, S23U can still seriously challenging iPhone 15 Pro Max in various categories.

Hopefully S24U will see even greater improvement on Galaxy S series and I hope that the 10x optical zoom will remain and also better TSMC made chip and not Samsung made one

Well just hope that the 8 Gen 1 fiasco won't return, I don't have confidence on Samsung's foundry, but we will see. Time will tell

From what I see, Samsung Mobile has been pressured by Samsung Electronic to use their own in-house design chip obviously, so what I can say is, Samsung Mobile will have to look at the sales volume of S23 and S23U series compares them to S22 and S22U series, then argue their case from there.

This also depends on the result of the new Exynos Processing chip, which so far from rumour has see a great improvement, with that, if the processing chip can be close enough to 8 Gen 3, then very likely whole S24 series will be in Exynos. Still, with the recent rumour of their Ultra series remains in SD, meaning to say they knew the 8 Gen 3 is still superior to their latest Exynos chip.

So here is the problem, I feel like it's not the Exynos chip design that is the issue, more like Samsung's own foundry's yield is an issue. For some reason, whatever chips coming from their foundry be it SD or Exynos will has thermal and throttling issues lol. So, unless they managed to improve their foundry to achieve like what TSMC done, their chip will continously having issues and the pressures will always be there to a point that Samsung Mobile will just have to give in eventually, just I hope this is not next year

Exactly, i would concur with you on this.

In fact, I believe S23 Ultra's camera is so good it changes Apple's strategy, hence this year, they double their MPs with enhanced camera sensor. One of the reason S23U's camera is good is also because of the new Samsung's 200-megapixel camera sensor. The Samsung's Isocell HP2 image sensor.

Sadly, i think not many people talking about the new sensor after the phone released, but I am glad to see it impact the industry well while also providing good experience to the end users.

Well, speaking of the chips, in the early days Exynos actually outperformed SD, and Samsung decided to throttle their Exynos, so that there is no big differences between the 2 chips. Then, the table turned and Exynos until now remains a history

Yep, i can only recall people only started to compares the Exynos and SD chip performance from Note 9 onwards, which was 2018.

This is also why people feel Apple is more user friendly, because Apple's design suits the user usage, just point and shoot, and now it will auto snap a Potrait too if detect a large enough face.

Plateau already, nothing much to update, which is a good thing. It means both platforms reaches mature stage.

Now left the fold phones, where there are still many things needed to be done to improve the user experience and also hopefully someday the grease can be fully removed too.

Yea I saw a lot of influencers sharing their experience about their fold series phone, especially Bobby Ang. Sad truth is, if you no viral it out then they will normally try to wash hand.

Ever since I use my S23U, I went back to the traditional method, type my pin despite got facial recognition and thumb print Authentication enabled.

Type pin much faster but again it can be due to my TMAX tempered glass. I wonder if I change to hydrogel thingy can improve or not

Haha the case expensive because they throw in the lifetime one to one replacement. But they will honour or not then is another question. And expensive makes the product sound more legit, because people always say if too good to be true then most likely it isn't, so when placing the product pricing, they factors this in too.

haha, maybe I old already, no longer that excited and keep changing case. Prefer to just slap 1 reliable good case and call it a day

Nowadays I mainly use Spigen and Rinke casing unlike last time buying UAG casing as well. But dunno why suddenly I got the mood to try the new dbrand ghost case

Now maybe I am not enough senior....

If i buy, then i will buy around next year because will also buy together with another's phone's case.
