Ayam been having some shoulder pain for some time now. Not too painful that I need to go doctor, just uncomfortable. Amoi at my workplace suggest ayam go do acupuncture. Anyone got experience before? Legit or just Chinese version of bomoh?

actually Gov Hospital Putrajaya, got Chinese Transitional Medicine dept do acupuncture,.. sent my mum there b4,.. around rm20 per session,..

need referal la boss, good luck getting a referal from most medical doctor.
but if we are talking psychiatrist and psychologist, yes they can refer them if you want to try those therapy. medication and cbt are not the only treatment out there.

The rest is fake aka visit at you own risk.....

Just like 1 of massager that my sis visit every week.....
Must go every week, other doctor med can't take, and must go him there.....

if traditional chinese medicine works, we would just call it medicine and practice it in hospitals and medical fields.


instead we have shamans pushing the concept of hot and cold, poking needles into Qi points and all these rubbish which isnt backed by science.

The ones in tung shin is legit. Mum had back pain few years back, went to specialist they said need surgery. Went for Acupunture at Tung Shin after 3 months her back is as good as new. Carry grandchildren also no back pain now.

I went to one to fix my lower back pain, couple of sessions fixes it...

Acupuncture probably can give you temporary symptomatic relief. Go get help from orthopedic lah. If don’t want, then get a proper chiro lah
