Went to Uncle Seng recently and I can't understand why the noodle shop is so popular. Noodle is tasteless, chillie sauce so-so.

Jojo pan mee or Toast & Roast noodles are so much better...

PS: I went because my friends were craving..

Price also still reasonable, it's amazing how he can managed to keep the cost low.

Other than Uncle Soon fried rice (which can be a bit inconsistent sometimes) the rest are pretty much so-so

You can makan uncle soon fried rice nearby also. Bangla fried rice hghhhhh

So Fookin inconsistent nowadays, after they expanded their branch, I hardly go unless really crave coffee shop fried rice. The best fried rice is still cooked at Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee shop.

Its not the usual wantan or hakka mee. You need to eat it with the special cili sauce for it to be good

True. The Williams pork noddles taste so so only don't know what hype. I eated one time never returned. Puchong cincai find also taste better

Not for me, even after adding curry sauce and onion oil.. It's still quite tasteless..

Should eat MEE RAJA at murni! Bestest! Better than Uncle Seng forsua!

No character la. This chillie is nor spicy nor tasty, probably a bit sweet. Pan Mee Chilie baru got feel..

It’s not pan mee, Hakka mee or wanton mee in the first place.

That is why it’s popular because you can’t get the same type of mee anywhere else.

The cili is not supposed to be spicy but it gives some sweet, sour and spicy taste to the noodles which is why it’s unique.
