It depends on what kind of cough you have. The active ingredient for a dry cough vs a 'wet' cough is different

So if you find your cough is not getting better, perhaps identify what kind of cough you are having and then request the right kind of cough med. Some pharmacist really just anyhow prescribe only

Look for cough med that contains dextromethorphan as active ingredient

Googling the item says its for targeting dry cough

This seems to be a combo for both the wet chesty cough and dry cough.

This was my go to until i caught covid and it couldnt relieve my dry cough. After recovered from covid my dry cough persist for over 2 mths. I finished two bottles of linctus and it still didnt help. Went to another pharmacy and was prescribed another similar dry cough med (similar actives) called mendicof and that did the trick 🤷🏻‍♀️

yes, post covid, the cough persists to the point i couldn't sleep.
linctus is already pretty good but damn this mendicof is actually even better. always good to know other effective meds as option.
