Hi guys,
I going to do some similar wall mount table as this below YouTube.
https://youtu.be/sZisV_coMig

Table size will be 7ft x 2ft.
Bought 4 stainless Steel bracket which rated 50kg to 150kg per pair..
4pcs (2 pair) I think min can handle 100kg over.
Table not sure how heavy assume will be around 10kg?
Bracket similar item
https://shopee.com.my/product/126723020/105...55-1672397001.9
I will put my bracket for every 42cm evenly. (edge no bracket)
Layout from top for bracket n tabletop
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I will put a monitor and some laptop and some stuff. Should total weight less than 100kg
.
Here come the question. I ask the seller about screw they jz said any screw that fit the hole .. Feel like going to screw the seller

Which screw should I put in?
I have some sturdy screw, diameter 5mm length after go through the bracket only left 2cm to go into wall.

Ia this able to support my requirement?

I have another 8mm anchor wall plug, but feel it's overkill bcz need to drill very big hole and very deep.(need use 10mm or 12mm drill bits) prefer not to go this option

Please use a longer screw, preferably around 2inches length, diameter can be 6mm/8mm. And if can use a different type of bracket. Im currently mounting my desktop (CPU) on the wall. Table only got keyboard and speakers. Monitor i mount on monitor arm. I bought stainless steel brackets, those solid type brackets. The bracket you are buying is hollow, thus the thickness of the bracket is thin, i'd say maybe around 1mm thick only. Not suitable to hold a 7ft x 2ft table. You need a bracket which is at least 2ft depth and around 1ft height. For 7ft I'd recommend minimum 5 brackets; left, right, middle 3. That way the weight is evenly distributed. IMO la. Cause you might be using this for long term. So better invest in better quality products.

that screw will not hold the table and bracket for long, suggest you look for something longer and bigger too.

OK maybe tmrw I go Mr DIY to see if I able. To find these screw.
I bought the bracket don't wanna waste it..
Can see your setting?
Earlier I thought of buying wall mount monitor bracket but it can't adjust up down so I end up buying desk arm
I guess every 50cm square 1 bracket is quite good?
If it's not working it won't sudden drop but slowly bend rite?

Don't mean it will bend, but the wall screw socket will give way over time and lead to something bad.

Hmm. I bought mine not from Mr DIY, i bought from shopee, i mean the bracket. Wall plugs the bracket came with raw plugs. Much more tougher than wall plugs. But i'd advise you not to use that brackets, are they 12inches by 12inches? I allow some leeway for my mount, as I have an ikea table and i mount my desktop on top, to clear some space on my desk. You start with left and right one bracket, then in the middle put 3 brackets. I only worry if your bracket is too short, it will not hold your table for long.... If its not working it might just collapse.. Sorry for senget picture lol

Oh I was considering that type of bracket as well..
I bought 10 inch x 18 inch.. Considering my table roughly 24 inch
So it cover 3/4 of my table depth. Perhaps I try mount it on and see if it's sturdy or not. What type of screw you use? And how heavy estimated your cpu?

Seems like overkill if I put 8 of 12mm hole on my wall.

Estimated weight of my CPU is around 10kg i suppose. haha. I use rawplug, those anchor type plugs, it actually came together with my brackets. Each bracket is a set of 2. So they gave 4 anchor plugs. Anchor plugs hold better compared to those wall plug and screws in the long run. Yeah, cover 3/4 of the table is good enough. Good thing my bracket was the exact same length as the shelve i bought, both 12inches.

You cant use normal screws for any attachment to the wall without ground support for daily use. The weight and pressure will dislodged the attachment.

Use the wall plug.
