Wait till finish reno but list all the appliances required. The warranty starts from invoice date so is not to your advantage if the appliances is in the storeroom.

Any warranty is from date of purchase aka invoice date. Delivery can be later on customer request if wanted to lock the price.

From your experienced on warranty claims, do manufacturers ask for receipt or delivery order as proof of purchased ?

It highly depends on the Terms and Conditions of the Warranty provided by the store and/or manufacturer of the specific item. Your seller is misinforming you by making you assume it's date of delivery, not all warranties work the same.

Get a copy of their warranty T&C's and check for yourself.

When buying through online, warranty starts from payment date and not date received.

Depends on seller. They could take the money from you as deposit for the said items that you pre-booked and only issue an official receipt when you finally ready to accept deliveries. It's basically a trust issue rather than anything.

I dont think it is necessary to get the warranty card chopped anymore. Most if not all would just require the warranty card (Im guessing to avoid parallel import for some brands) and an official receipt (some shops) from the shop that you made purchase.

Recently bought 2 Khind stand fan from Lazada Senheng and both have problem fitting the grills, probably due to shipping issue. I only brought along the warranty card and they kindly replaced the grill when I pay them a visit.

In the event of a disputes or ambiguity in any warranty claim, the proof of purchase overides warranty card.

The warranty card is merely to tell the customers the tnc of the warranty. And normally one of the tnc is the proof of purchase is required when submitting a claim.

For example, I have dealt with pana on ac warranty claim. If customers for any reasons cannot produce the proof of purchase, the warranty is based on date of production serial numbers.

For small appliances manufacturers or importers, some are more flexible in warranty claims. Some dont repair and give a one for one exchange.

Not really. I went to their KHIND HQ also they didnt ask much. Just ask me to fill in the warranty card (not chopped by Senheng) without even looking at the receipt.

Bought a Hisense TV and fridge from Onking, warranty card not chopped. Bought a Sony TV and LG AC from Desa Home, warranty card not chopped. Along with some smaller appliances that I bought during MCO all warranty card are not chopped.

Chop or not, not important...
Those dealers sales are somehow linked (not sure how auto or manual) to those brands' system, once sold, the date recorded into their system.

U go to Khind, their system already got the purchase record of ur appliances in thier system, so ask u fill up warranty card for SOP only
