QUOTE(KHOdin @ Dec 29 2022, 12:06 PM) I have decided to avoid Xiaomi / Redmi phones.Currently using Xiaomi 9SE. Decision is to avoid all those phone that keep pestering you to go into their cloud. Only cloud accepted at the moment is Google's own cloud and Apple's iCloud. |

QUOTE(PRSXFENG @ Dec 29 2022, 06:31 PM) I never got those notices, but I disabled the stuff I dont use and dont backup my stuff to their cloud Xiaomi is not my primary phone. plus, do go and disable "recommendations" on all the stock xiaomi apps to remove ads It only have less than 10 apps installed, and always on standby mode. Hardly use it. I don't play game. It's my rough out phone or backup when I need to hotspot, I plug in a SIM card. Despite that, there are Xiaomi's own bloatware that you are not able to rid off, is sucking up resources. Phone slows down plenty over time, like it's been programmed to do so. Bought a Realme phone for my old folk. Like the clean system, no bloatware, no weird farkery like what Xiaomi put in all their phones. |
