in fact the camera is so much better than oneplus 10 pro |

Oneplus my official sets were never cheap to begin with. Quite a difference in price compared to sets from parallel importers. Most of the regular users don't bother with official sets.

Guys - do your stock photo gallery / YouTube both run at 60fps?
Device: OP 11 / OOS11 I noticed on my OP 10T it's the same issue. Almost every other app does 60 fps. Kinda annoying as it breaks the fluidity of the experience. |

Depends also where the importer source the device, some countries might only have bands that different than what Malaysia using.Also depends on what kind of region lock that OnePlus set to the phone. All I can say is, the software experience isn't better or worse (I may say it's better than other China OSs and old Samsung OS). The latest Oxygen OS is as good as other brands flagship with just minor difference in the user experience with minor cons and pros between each brands. Just ordered OP11 and can't wait for it to arrive. No opinion on Iphones, they just work I guess. OP11= RM3.6k, S23+ = RM4.6k, IP14Pro/IP15Pro = RM5k. You make your own decision. Post processing is very important like pixel able to output better picture although poorer camera spec 3. Bigger battery (5000 vs 4700) but it have higher resolution so I doubt there will be much different on battery life 4. Faster wired charging (100w vs 45w) but doesn't support wireless charging or reverse wireless charging. Some might argue faster charging heat battery faster and shorten life span If I am you, definitely will got for s23+ since the price is same. After I list down then only I aware hardware offering wise s23+ is much better and software offering OP11 also cannot compete with s23 One more thing to add is that the Sammy community is much more bigger (just look at lowyat thread pages s23 reached 200+ pages but OP11 just 10+). If RRP price, I think OP11 more value for money vs Samsung.
But since Samsung PO offer quite good value, I have chosen s23 after bad experience with 8T For OP, better pray for no hardware issue, their after sales service is quite terrible. No service centre for walk in, need post the phone to them and wait few days for them to check. |

Yeah, either phones is absolutely fine for usage. It's just up to you on which phone that you like. If it's still so hard to determine which to get, maybe you can wait for the chance to get some in-hand testing at local stores.
Personally I much prefer the look of OP11 compared to S23's each individual camera module sticking out like that (which I find ugly). So I got the OP11, was considering both earlier. |

The 1 Year Extended warranty program is definitely by Oneplus itself while the screen protection warranty would be fullfiled by a third party insurance cover. Whatever it is I would not be worried as these warranties are provided by Oneplus themselves. funglover liked this post

its ugly vid and photo but the real phone is damn lit when u saw it. lol
games run smoothly even on max 60fps and surprisingly not that hot. my poco f3 can fry egg with it. so far impressed by mostly everything, just some minor software prob that might need to get used to / update later one question, suggestion for front and back glass protection? temper glass? or arnything? |

Just had the phone yesterday and tried play Genshin Impact on the phone. It was really stable at 60fps but the heating issue trouble me. It stays at 40 degrees which I can’t handle for long. I even play it without casing on it.
Anyone has issue? Other games also same, easily heating up |

 Battery life is now back to being great *touch wood*. Charged it up to 100% last night (2nd time) and this has been my use till now 11AM. Deleted data and cache from the launcher which was misbehaving, seems all good now! |

Just received email from Lazada, order will be delayed and expect any updates only from 10/3 onwards. Only compensation is a rm5 voucher
Now my mind full of mi13 or S23, been using 5T for the past 5yrs the first time I decided to upgrade this is my experience I got from Oneplus Malaysia. What a disappointment. If you can fulfill dont over promise, from ETA 25/2 to TBC earliest mid March |

Hi guys. Im facing this issue: "Android setup in progress - Tap to finish setting up" keep showing in notification.
After click it asked to copy data so I chose "Dont copy", then it just repeat back the same screen asking me to copy data. Then I tried to choose copy data, then it prompt me to connect my old phone to this phone via cable. So I just continue next until I have the option "Cant use old device". Then it asked me to restore data via cloud - select a device. Then I chose "Dont restore", then it repeat back the same screen asking me to restore via cloud. From here I cant go any further unless I select a device. I have not tried to select a device yet cos I dont want to restore anything. Anyone facing this? Any advice? |

Anyone has past experience with sandstone case? I have a feeling this type of case will easily trap dirt and oil from our hands and hard to clean.
I'm thinking whether to buy other case or not.. |

Guys, finally received my PO yesterday. I have 2 questions need help
1.) How to change the stock photos app to show only camera picture in photos tab. I have alot of photos from whatsapp which I dont want it to show in photos tab. 2.) how to enable 'Delete' when receiving new sms. On old OOS there is delete button option when receive new sms, now I couldn't seem to find it anymore. |

This is the interface of my OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
The picture of the device doesn't show up at the top lol, there's no Game Mode, no full array of Zen Air sounds but otherwise all works well. All these appear fine when connected on my iPad using the HeyMelody app. Anyone else?    |

Anyone finds that using Youtube app it's laggy?
Watching YT videos are smooth, but scrolling or after minimizing the active video to browse other videos will have lag. Sometimes even input delay up to 2 seconds or longer. I tried another Youtube app *****ced and can really notice the difference in smoothess. Edit: After I turn on high performance mode it's smoother without the few sec input delay. But you can still notice its not smooth. Not even 60fps smooth, but more like 30 - 45 fps. But on the other YT app it's smooth even without the high performance mode turned on. If you guys are tired of the clickbait articles on Google homescreen page. you can totally turn it off by going into App Drawing search for Google "G icon" app then disable and force stop it. Then its gone.

Anyone using Android Auto?
When Im connected in my car, for some reason there is no sound when Im on phone call. But the sound is perfectly fine when using apps (waze, google maps, spotify, etc) and also when I open apps on my phone there is sound from my car speaker. Only on phone calls there is no sound from my car speaker and I also cant switch the audio to phone speaker. Anyone facing this? I wonder is there a setting I missed out. I didnt face this issue with my previous phone (OP6). I remember I didnt have to do any special settings, just connect cable and connect bluetooth. Also I can switch the audio output easily by pressing phone volume button then choose the audio output. |

I just bought a OP11 on Lazada and when it arrived, I found it was a china set running ColorOS.
I thought I could just follow the instructions online to flash the ROM to OxygenOS but now it's stuck in a bootloop! Has anyone had experience doing the conversion before and can offer some help please? |

Seems OP is losing it's appeal and inching closer to the OPPO base...Seems that China-region OP11's are getting notifications that their calls might not work since wrong region. Need to force ignore the notification. Also, for the people who have managed to successfully load OxygenOS on their China OP11, there are issues like not being able to call, can't set screen lock code and auto brightness issues. Very disappointed that OnePlus has made it so difficult as they were always modder friendly in the past. |

Anyone know how to switch off the auto macro mode in camera? I switched it off then the next time i open the camera apps, it came back on. It is annoying when i want to snap something closer and it auto switch the macro cam for me 😞

Anyway, I agree Magic5Pro has better specs all around except wired charging speed and OS UI. Ofcourse there's other minor aspects as well, size weight etc. Better if you watch some reviewer's videos to compare. |

So far so good, no major bug, every Apps work fine and no delay notification issue. The UI similar to ColorOS 13. very responsive and smooth. Battery drain is a bit better than ColorOS 13.    |
