That would be your call. Only issue we should be worried about is the network bandwidth of the modem and VoLTE and VoWifi support. Other than that, it is ok.

if oneplus Malaysia mark up 1.4k without casing somemore (china set got casing in box) , they deserve to die

my oneplus 5 still going strong.. The latest oneplus all are over 2k.. damn (Except nord )

Oneplus my official sets were never cheap to begin with. Quite a difference in price compared to sets from parallel importers. Most of the regular users don't bother with official sets.

Well Expected due to oppo fully merged oneplus into 100% owned sub brand. Cannot clash with oppo find x6 pro

While reasoning is to slimline the model lineup, actually reason is because above merger means Pete Lau now manage both oppo and oneplus flagship lines. Pete lau has to plan such carefully so both find and oneplus flagships cannot be clash

The only way for Oneplus to regain its fans and market share would be to lower prices while offering flagship specs. I'm sure fans won't mind missing features like wireless charging and IP certification. Keep the prices down with flagship hardware and excellent software and updates and all the fans will be back.

I hope they learn well that going against the big boys like Samsung and Iphone just doesn't work for this segment of buyers.

honestly it was a good trade, wireless charging, ip rating can be forgotten if the price was very affordable

they should stick back to old formula, flagship killer

low price, high spec, no wireless charging ,no ip rating, passable camera, make it the cheapest snapdragon 8 gen 2 phone in the market then old user will coming back
