Looking for a simple gold necklace with cross, but significant other don't feel the tomei etc. prices are worth it (also designs too fancy). What other options? Online can only find costume jewelry....

You can go normal jewelly shop in tamn area, ask them can customise or not, pay the workmanship fees..

255, 265.. All those banners just marketing gimmick
for a few weird pieces like rings.

The best u can do once u like a design is haggle
to reduce the workmanship price.

Always ask them to weigh the piece again reconfirm the weight.

If u regular at an outlet, the manager might waive the
workmanship fee for simple designs
