Hi sifu, im complete noob with audio stuff, but i manage to do a bit of due diligent, please do explain like im 12y/o thanks.

my car is ATIVA H variant, that doesnt comes with tweeter (the AV variant do comes with tweeter though). But im not sure whether it comes with crossover somewhere inside my car.

so my plan for a simple upgrade is:

1. Replace front speaker with Mohawk M1-6.2 pro 6.5" component speakers (c/w crossover). RM245

2. Replace rear speaker with Mohawk M1-625Pro 6.5" Coaxial speaker RM161

https://shopee.com.my/%F0%9F%94%A5MOHAWK%F0...50-c5d59b299fbc

3. Add underseat subwoofer MBQ AW-10E 10". RM225

Questions:
1. is my setup make sense for entry level?
2. Anyone here use the component speaker before? does the crossover have dial/switch for further tuning? else any other brand/model that comes with tunable crossover?
3. Is the passive crossover a durable device? initially im thinking of getting a nakamichi 8ch DSP, but im afraid i'll have another device prone for breaking down. IDK, maybe another upgrade in future.
4. Does the cheap MBQ subwoofer makes any difference between the 8" and 10"? might get the 8" due to space. My dad has this in his car for about 12years, still working and it's adequate to satisfy my need.
5. can my headunit support the power consumption of the speakers im going to upgrade to? how do i know?

1&2 - 1 component set and 1 set of coaxial speakers are good start for entry level. I would strongly recommend to buy from reputable seller/shop and get it installed by them. This is to reduce the risk of damage and/or counterfeit products.. Crossover will spilt the frequency and only can tune the db level.. for more tuning capability you need dsp.

3. Usually crossovers are well built but also depends on where it will be fixed.

4. Should be good but try demo both 8 and 10inch and see which one you prefer.

5. Should be good, if anyone advise you to change dsp for better sound, PLS DONT INSTALL FIRST.. most ori player dont go well with aftermarket DSP and will cause some unpleasing noise.. I believe your car is still new and under warranty so my humble advise is dont add any additional stuffs like DSP all unless if you want to change player.

Was planning on getting the same upgrade for my myvi FL as well but simple upgrade only the Mohawk M1 Pro 2way and mid bass.

Any comment after one year usage?
