I am using a Huawei B818 with 20GB Yoodo data, so far so good at my off site location, I wish to connect PPTP back to my home only to find out most Mobile Telco blocks the PPTP traffics
The Huawei B818 only supports PPTP/L2TP so I don't have many choice, I tried a digi SIM in the B818 also failed, any other mobile Telco will still support PPTP?
Thanks

QUOTE(BTS1501 @ Dec 19 2022, 08:44 AM) I did not, I will try and see if I can make the change and reattempt the PPTP connection, will update Update - Just tried to create a new APN with the same setting except it's only ipv4 instead of ipv4 & ipv6, still the same issue for the VPN connection.. PPTP is very insecure. I will suggest moving away from it.
There are better options out there. IPsec, Tailscale, Wireguard, OpenVPN.

Unfortunately Huawei 4G router only support PPTP/L2TP, I can get other 4G router that supports IPSec but since all mobile Telco no longer offers public IP that's not possible too I am more of just wanting a connection back home to do some stuff (e.g accessing music library etc)
