this the ceiling price of eggs :

normally i buy from NSK,..

Grade A - 1 tray-- rm13.50,.. ngam ngam ceiling price for 30 eggs (now no more)

Grade C - 1 tray-- rm12.30,.. also ngam ngam ceiling price,..


10 eggs Grade A ceiling price is rm4.50,.. but all 10 eggs in all supermarket is selling above rm5,...

Local eggs fortified, Macao, omega, selenium, are classified as special eggs. Not under ceiling.

As per food act, imported eggs need to have sticker showing the importer. And prior to this AP for imported eggs are very limited.

Government want to import eggs to LOWER the egg price. So is imported eggs lower in price?

The safest ones to eat especially if you eat the yolk medium or under.

All others..... it has no business being in anyone's mouth.

Lately, I heard duck eggs and geese eggs are pretty damned nutritious. Unfortunately, ain't gonna be a thing in msia.

Duck eggs are fairly common but pasteurized ones isn't a thing here.

Geese eggs are less common but kind of gamey smell though. There was a reseller in Penang, never found one in Klang Valley.

Be glad ur gomen didnt ask u to replace egg with duck egg, that is like 1.40-1.50 and egg, lol

okay today i went to NSK,.. grade C eggs also don't have liao,.. now got grade D eggs,.. selling at grade C price,..

i don't even know there's smaller eggs,.. like Grade D eggs,.. i always thought Grade C is the smallest,..
