I changed ISP to UNIFI. Comes with a phone line. However, when I connect a phone (Motorola C401) to the correct port on the modem I don't get a dial tone.
I dial the phone number I get a busy tone.
I emailed TM and this is their reply.
However, please be informed that we has reset the port in our system to refresh your connection. Thus, you are advised to turn off all the equipment within 30 seconds and turn on back to refresh all the connection. You may also monitor your connection. Please be advise to ensure the cable telephone cable is connect to modem port 1.
To get them to come and check, got charges.
