Hi, I am looking at this unit that come with a small bathroom, where the WC is positioned at the middle with little room to pay around with. I want to install the plastic panel/sliding door (at the red line) to separate the shower unit with the WC, to avoid water splashing over. However, it will be too close to the WC, isn't it? Is it possible to move the whole WC nearer to the sink (blue arrow)? Or any better suggestion? Thank you all

Possible to move WC for landed unit, but not for high rise unit.

Use shower curtain instead of permanent screen. The railing can be made to any shape to fit the space and not necessary straight so that there is more room space.

Did think of that, but not so fond of curtain as it makes the room looks abit cheap..

You have limited room space to play around. The reason why the wc is in the middle is because of the door.

You can check with the plumber whether this work ...

Adjust the wc to 45 degree facing the door. Then do a shower screen also at 45 degree. Relocate the shower head to the opposite wall.

Tossing this idea around. What if tore down the whole wall (right side) and rebuild it one feet away. Then move the sink and WC to the right too. Too costly? Or sound stupid?

can offset a bit. using the offset flange
i think the most is 6 inch or maybe 8 cant recall
but still will kacau the bowl orientation.

coz if shift to the side-to-side cant move much compare shift front-back

Oh, this is a landed unit.

Then no issue. Go ahead. You can also relocated the entire bathroom toilet. Only money matters.

If it’s on ground floor, can move. But costly. Hacking, water proof, tiling and when open the WC, wc may break if the installer use cement to fix the Wc. Small adjustment but costly.

there is a concept of placing a wash basin outside the bathroom (depending on the room layout). then you'll get bigger space for the wc and shower.

Yes, you can move the toilet bowl. Just hack the floor, and extend the sewage pipes to where you want the w/c to be. Finally, make everything good again.

You'll be so much happier in the long run doing this now, even though the cost is a bit high

Yeah. The other bathroom near the kitchen has this wash basin out of bathroom concept, but has similar problem - shower head too near to WC. This one is for the master bedroom so doesn't have much space to wiggle either.

Another idea is not to hack the wall, but change the wash basin to a smaller one, then have more space to move the WC further towards the right side. Can save cost. And maybe change the swing door to a sliding/folding type.

I believed there is a water pump to distribute the water to the various points.

U can already use the water now right? If u think the water is not filing fast enough then u will need a pump. U can check with the shop by telling them how many toilets and kitchen. They will propose u the pump size.

Not yet, only the show house unit is ready. So this few things caught my eyes.

Just went to the show unit again. You are right, that is the rainwater collection tank. There is another tank at the ceiling. Phew.

Like another member mentioned, the WC is probably there so the door can clear when open/close. Change it to a folding door. I did that for my small bathroom and it “felt” more spacious cause it makes getting in and out feel easier.

Just curious do you have the measurements for your bathroom? Really does look small.

It does look small indeed. I have not taken the measurement, just visual.

Yes, I think combination of moving the WC to the right, change to a smaller wash basin and folding/sliding door will do the trick. Just hope this does not affect the floor tiles that much.

A wall hanging basin without sitting on a tile top will save some space.

Do share measurements when you get it, I’m curious how small a bathroom can be.

haiz, my WC just done reno, and shift the toilet bowl (sit type) to side, i noticed that the water orientation is slow flowing, poop cant be flush like usual, like i have to flush 2 time for a clean look, now the toilet got jammed, poop that flushed away got flowed back , and the toilet bowl filled with shitty water

call the reno guy and he said he will arrange someone to help us, hope he dont bluff us ,
i see you did mention the offset flange, i doubt if they ever use that

we didnt suka hati wanna move the toilet, the reno guy say, can ah, can move, then we planned to shift, now BIG and smelly problems occurs

What is the reason to move the WC at the first place? Due to floor size?

I redo the toilet and removed the offset flange in the other house done by the previous owner. No recurring problem

1. the floor is uneven and water become stagnant on the spot, plus we remove the massage bath tub and need to cover its drainage hole
2. we plan to separate the toilet and the shower area to establish a wet and dry area (it's a 3 room 1 toilet house)

idk why the jammed toilet, i never experienced it in my past life either for public toilet, hostel toilet or home toilet

i not sure what had happened to the toilet and its piping

In a discharve piping, it cannot have more than one bends or U-shape at the begining of flushing or it will hinder the flow.

If the contractor did not dig up 6 feet of the flooring, then likely it flows sideway to the old pipe.

we didnt watch the construction process, cant find this out,
