TrueMoney is one of Thailand's leading e-wallets, it's pretty surprising that they're still entering our market this late when it's already saturated.

But if they can give some serious competition like how e wallets started here in the beginning, why not?

this is why they leverage on a big anchor here, Lotus's (aka Thai business owner)

later only monetize once they get traction (if any)

Can already forsee them promoting it aggressively at Lotus's stores during the upcoming months.

But what's weird is that the tech medias aren't doing any news about it, I expected some coverage on it since it's quite popular in Thailand.

Mine went well on first try, but app still kinda unstable currently, can see some language errors in the app too.

Two is True-ly better than one! 👯‍♀️

That’s why TrueMoney is joining forces with Lotus’s Malaysia once more to make your jimat dreams a reality.

Offer is valid for TWO (2) redemptions per user per device throughout the campaign period.

#TrueMoney #TrueMoneyWallet #playstore #app #ewallet #lotussmalaysia #spendandwin #cashback

Just tried this wallet today. Cashback missions are relatively easy to do especially if you shop frequently at Lotus's.
A single payment can even complete two different missions. The cashbacks are received instantaneously. The UI is relatively clean and easy to use.

The downside is, there is no other major retailer support at the moment. At this particular Lotus's that I went to, even the foodcourt did not support it.

tng is thru duitnow crossborder qr, which require a different set of integration and testing with paynet

depends on truemoney if they want to put the effort and $$ into this since they have separate Thailand ewallet/app already

good feature for end users doesn't mean it make business sense or worth the effort.

they already have Thailand ewallet. probably they want to increase their user base there too without being cannibalized by Malaysian users via crossborder qr payments.

Sooner or later, Alipay+.
Truemoney is also partly owned by Ant Financial (Alipay), just like TNG Wallet and Lazada Wallet (Alipay Malaysia) and Alipay China which are all directly or indirectly owned by Ant Financial.

I think all will operate independently in different jurisdiction. TrueMoney in Thailand is very big. I couldn't use TrueMoney Malaysia for QR payments in Thailand. Which suggest that its not on AliPay+. TNG rides on AliPay+ for cross border payments.

thanks for the clarification. biggrin.gif
yes for time being.
their fb page had clarified international means international/overseas bank.

but i checked their t&c state they will charge reload fee for local & international cc reload moving forward, and request refer to Appendix 2.

Appendix 2 only state international cc.

so i think for time being, only for international bank cc, but moving forward, could include local bank cc too.
