QUOTE(EX Unseen Forces @ Jun 30 2024, 06:24 PM) Then too bad. They should learn from touch n go ewallet. It even can be used by japanese vending machines. tng is thru duitnow crossborder qr, which require a different set of integration and testing with paynet depends on truemoney if they want to put the effort and $$ into this since they have separate Thailand ewallet/app already

Malaysia travelled to Thailand so often it's a very good value added feature.

Then good luck for them. Expect fierce competitions against TNG, Boost, Grabpay, Shopeepay, etc...

QUOTE(EX Unseen Forces @ Jul 11 2024, 07:04 PM) Too bad. Maybe future will have truemoney+ Sooner or later, Alipay+. Truemoney is also partly owned by Ant Financial (Alipay), just like TNG Wallet and Lazada Wallet (Alipay Malaysia) and Alipay China which are all directly or indirectly owned by Ant Financial.

Truemoney is also partly owned by Ant Financial (Alipay), just like TNG Wallet and Lazada Wallet (Alipay Malaysia) and Alipay China which are all directly or indirectly owned by Ant Financial. I think all will operate independently in different jurisdiction. TrueMoney in Thailand is very big. I couldn't use TrueMoney Malaysia for QR payments in Thailand. Which suggest that its not on AliPay+. TNG rides on AliPay+ for cross border payments.

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Mar 15 2025, 10:15 AM) Keyword, international. 6540. eWallet. thanks for the clarification. yes for time being. their fb page had clarified international means international/overseas bank. but i checked their t&c state they will charge reload fee for local & international cc reload moving forward, and request refer to Appendix 2. Appendix 2 only state international cc. so i think for time being, only for international bank cc, but moving forward, could include local bank cc too.
