"It was just a normal meeting to discuss problems facing the Perlis state government," Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, told Bernama after the meeting which lasted over an hour.

Meanwhile, Mohd Shukri, said that among the matters discussed in the meeting on Monday (Dec 12) were development projects in Perlis.

Earlier, Anwar arrived at the Finance Ministry at 9.53am with his two deputies, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan and Steven Sim Chee Keong, who officially started work on Monday.


On Sunday (Dec 11), Anwar said he would go to the Finance Ministry to check on projects approved through direct negotiation.

my opinion: he should help perlis even if they are opposition, but make sure the help reaches the people. the focus should be on improving the whole of malaysia, not just selectively as it will divide the people again.
