 Damage reported during Transit, Anyone experience this?

Hi all daikors,

Recently bought a laptop via official website from a well known brand "L", however, it took longer than the advertised to ship to me, I haven't received till today.

Yesterday when I track the shipping status, it has damage reported when it reaches Malaysia Sepang.

Before reaching MY it had routed to few countries and cities.

I have email the official post sales department, still awaiting their reply on what should I do.

My laptop is now in Shah Alam already(according to the tracker), I foresee it will deliver to me within this week, if they proceed to deliver to me.

Should I reject to collecting from the courier if there is obvious damage on the box?

How do you all handle situation like this?

Might get better answer if move to serious /k

Although the product is notebook, your issue is product damage in transit, generally.
Maybe other can share similar case of theirs.

But my 2cents, make sure you take multiple photos of the packaging before opening, even if externally looks okay.
Best way record yourself opening the package and power the device first time, in case of any dispute/ warranty claim.

Thanks for your advise, I've rejected item from courier as the box is damage.

I have escalated to Lenovo team, they need few days to process the issues.

I have proceed/decided for full replacement instead of full refund, just worry how long it takes as Xmas is coming soon and it's just after 12.12.

Mid end only but cost about 8k. with a graphic card gtx3060, 32gbram, 1tb ssd, and i7, i also didn't know it will ship from China as the website stated 6-7 days shipment, else I'll not buy from them already.

Till today there's no news no update for the shipment status, I asked for the tracking link and the customer service tell me they will update me from time to time.

Ordered on November this year, maybe I'll get it by next year already.
