Actually from what I heard, Deleum management was the first to raise about the corrupt case to PETRONAS and MACC, since then Deleum has replaced the personnel involved and undergone a massive completion on Anti Bribery Certification and implemented Anti Bribery Management System.

From the source below:
"Deleum itself in late 2020 had lodged the complaint with MACC over “an alleged illegal scheme” involving some Deleum Primera employees, suppliers, contractors and some Petronas Carigali employees."

Even Petronas had taken action against its staff. The sub contractor involved is also removed.

"Deleum confirmed it had received a letter dated 12 December from Petronas confirming “the uplift of the suspension” against DTS with immediate effect. Subsidiary DTS will have to apply to renew its license for a year in accordance with Petronas’ licensing and registration requirements."

At the end of the day, a few bad apples don’t spoil the entire tree — it's important to look at the bigger picture and not let isolated incidents define the whole

Probably along the lines of redemption. Because of a mistake we cant perma tell them to close shop kan. Remove the bad apples, and there are still plenty within the company eking out a honest living.

I have no idea, referring to the post i mentioned, so if a bidder won a contract, other bidders have the right to protest also?
Im asking cos there is this one company who is tied to famous corruption case years back, manage to win another contract but using different company, management still under the same group. hmm..
*
ekceli not really so called protest.
when the list of bidders win the job leak, nobody dare to confirm that list is true or not.

if they send protest letter, client simply can argue what the heck u protest for? coz no official award yet.
but what they did, send a letter to follow up such why they didn't call up for techno com, etc2.

At the same time, engagement with top2 position will happen as well

Not confirmed yet. Earnest talks and negotiations are still in progress.

Gas business in Sarawak is turning ugly for business.

HUC works on hold , for 2nd MOPU right?

but right now seems to be refocusing on DP3 , awaking from sleep state.

SBA seems to have quite a few projects accelerating due to high gas demands.

Is it true ? Wild rumours already spurring . Can anyone confirm?

Green expecting to layoff 15k people next year , dunno true or not . But not shocking as a similar number happened back then.

Even fabricator around 1k ish.

Even friends in JDs are saying that the music is stopping and they're acting like the ship is sinking too.

What the hell is going on .

Working with contractor might sound more long term, depending on contract for the project.

After 2018, they hired plenty of contract staff only. So easy to letgo them

plausible , lots of departments are made out of entirely contract staffs . The ratio to contract and permanent has been skewed in recent years.

CDHs are probably on the chopping block . Just walk around the foodcourt , you'll immediately notice most people dont have their faces on their tags , confirm contract.

If it is just letting go some contract staffs it is possible indeed. Out right MSS or VSS would be unthinkable for green company.

It is pretty much impoasible to find permanent position these days.. unless less than 5yrs exp.
