Folks buy SUVs for a few reasons. High ground clearance, space, and utility, where they sacrifice driving dynamics and fuel economy to achieve this end.

But SUV coupes kinda defeats the purpose of a SUV, sacrificing space, and utility for kewl, sporty design. Also, some Coupe SUVs ride a bit lower compared to traditional SUVs.

Might as well get a sedan right?

I think SUVs are so prevalent that a handsome looking SUV that has little advantages over a sedan is now desirable
