i am a senior costing executive, i have a CIMA cert and have five years experience in costing
my current goal is to be a head of finance after 10 years
i plan to enter other fields which will cover credit control, treasury, risk management
but those job in other fields require for experienced candidiate
i managed to get junior executive offer which offer lower/similar/slightly higher salary...
should i consider accelting those junior executive job?
many thanks

I have reached the high level that I can't convert to other accounting fields.
When I just came out of audit, I was a Consolidation accountant, I quit that early to do a field that I later regretted.
So I am too specialized now.
I try to be head of finance but lack experience.
THe best line u can stick to, to become head of finance is a consolidation accountant then move to finance manager for operations and reporting then to CFO. Reporting and accounting operations is the key for path to CFO.
