binged watched since last night until finished today

Gotta say, it followed the manga very closely. Those who have seen the manga would feel it's a good adaptation, but those who just watch like a normal Netflix show may feel disappointed. Japanese films & dramas usually have that philosophical message to think about. 

But I agree that the plot armour could have been toned down. Car scene could have been shorter, to allocate more time for character's past story. King of Clubs part was done very well.

Overall, S1 + S2 pretty much condensed all the important stuff from the manga.
