Looked around on shopee, seems like for continental cc6 no this size.. Uc7 got but rm 381 hmm abit pricey

Any suggestions? Cuz the front wheels getting thinner, was thinking either to rotate the tyre or just wear the fronts one until botak then swap back to front, new tyres for the back..

Milleage for tyre is 20000. Back tyre thread still very thick...

Based on my tire price table here

These are your options.

Kumho Ecsta PS31 195/50R16 265
Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 195/50R16 317
Continental UC6 195/50R16 (NEW UC7) 319
Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 195/50R16 330
Michelin Energy XM2+ 195/50R16 357

Would definitely recommend XM2+ from this list.

Of course you could rotate your tires, but you will risk aquaplaning during this raining season sad.gif

If daily driving XM2+ is the way to go, I honestly not sure if it can handle if one drive it hard?

Quick question, does this kumho tire considered as UHP tires on same tier as Fleva/Eagle F1 Sport/Victra I-Pro?

Personally using Eagle F1 Sport, costing me RM310 per donut. Can find better deal if you look around.

have you ever consider downsize to 15 inch wheels?

Those tires at these size are still relatively reasonable

If so, maybe XM2+ will do the trick since you are doing it daily driver?

Pricey it is but at least it last long.

Whatever you do, dont sell of the R3 wheels.

Those are hard to come by now and there are thai copies too floating around too.

You're right. However, they only have these sizes for 16"
205/45R16
205/50R16
205/55R16
225/55R16

The closest for 195/50R16 would be 205/45R16

I never seen xm2 this size at shop.
The last 2 times tyre change i stick with cpc2. Good for me..
Lasted until i notice it showing 'benang' at inside thread.

Im looking to replaced it with major brand tyre, but all so dem expensive now..

Yeah.. never think to sell that rim.. 😁

another option, TOYO PROXES TR1 should be below or around RM300 at Selangor.

I'm using same size Conti UC6, not bad for daily drive, just a bit noisy after few months using.

Need to look for tires soon too, not sure which to go with. Its either TR1 or Fleva. Super limited choice at my area.

Yeah... I wish can get major brand tyre... But all 300 up..
Toyo TR1/CR1 can get 280 if search around.

Since my tyre already used till can see benang.. and currently only home-work, i just get cheap 1 to use..
Yep front tyre will finish 1st..

My fren using that on his car.. When it's new, quiet.. Now I see like mid threads dy.. Very loud the road noise lol

Uc6 same price is it with tr1? For 195.. I don't think I will consider 185 or 205..since my other 2 tyre still got thick threads..

Cc6 macam cannot find my size sad..

My rear threads still thick. Should I swap my old tyres to the front, new to the back? Old tyre came with the car. Vios. Toyo proxes.. Not satisfied with the road noise.. When new is quiet. Now getting much noisier.. But not as noisy as tr 1..cc6 so far very silent very the nice. But no size

Sent to Toyota Sc ask for new tyre.. Potong leher..

From the look of TR1, seems will be noisy after half.. i think common with this thread pattern..

I usually swap. Rear (old) to front. Then new tyre at rear.

The china tyre im using might be bising also.. see thread wear 420 😂 .. (traction A, temperature A only).

The previous CPC2 280, AA, A.
