On a side note, It's total inventory is a shield, a bazooka, a beam rifle, and 4xbeam sabers. Am i missing out on anything? *edit* Here's a page on how unicorn changes its face plate.kindly scroll lower to the bottom. http://3dayslater.cocolog-enshu.com/blog/2.../post_6d84.html http://www.gundambase.com/community/news_v...1&news_idx=1039 Hey guys, i've got a question here, how did this guy make the stickers sooo unnoticeable? What i mean is, there are no sides or noticeable bumps. The kind of result you get with regular stickers. it totally ruins the whole thing at times...how did he do it?? Unless....all those are dry transfer decals? This post has been edited by WaytoDawn: Nov 23 2007, 12:10 PM |

You know, with all this hype about Unicorn, I just happen to stumble upon this little funny link... http://www5.0zz0.com/2007/06/28/01/77907198.jpg
seriously...i bet a lot of people will play around with unicorn's colours... On a side note, *I just had to make this lame joke* Imagine when Unicorn gundam turns into Destroy mode, the pilot shouts- CAST OFF! (get my point?) This post has been edited by WaytoDawn: Nov 23 2007, 05:30 PM |

QUOTE(ngee_khiong @ Dec 10 2007, 03:56 AM) It may just be me, but guys, after seeing one of those pic's, any of you noticed that there are dry transfer decals instead of normal stickers behind the regular stickers? This shouldn't be a big deal...but i am still praying that ALL the stickers are dry transfer decals. *prays**prays*anyone with me here? haha... |

QUOTE(300078 @ Dec 15 2007, 12:32 PM) hmmm just saw the manual of the MG unicorn on Dalong.net and it is confirm that the unicorn has poor articulation! Too bad Bandai did not used any time to research on how to build a joint that can support transformation! Question: which parts other than the side of the head do you need to remove and place back? The rest seems transformable to me...And i whole heartedly agree with you bout the articulation part. It shouldn't be too much of a problem as a little snipping here and there with the addition of pla-plates, I think you can indeed make the knee joint as flexible as the current MG's. Anyways, I am a little dissapointed by the fact that all the red warning signs and sorts are still stickers....oh well...guess i was hoping a little much. And the transformation required u to remove certain part then placing it back! It is nothing like the Zeta Gundam which does not required u to remove any part to do the transform! |

ok...this knee problem is more serious than a few cuts here and there...hmm....I have two ideas.
First idea: the more complicated one... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Now, based of this pic, you can c the green area is supposed to link to the red area to form the lower leg, and the yellow area is supposed to link to the blue area to form the upper leg. This hinders movement and articulation by a long shot as the *tubes* behind the joint is in the way. Now, my idea is to cut away the green part and red part, then create a joint circle simillar to the yellow part with plaplates which will replace the green part and then link this newly made joint to the blue part along with the yellow part. Sorta like a sandwich of joints. Lets say the yellow part is represented as "l" and the newly made joint is represented as "Y".From the front view, The "l" will be insetrted above the "Y" to form something like a pitch fork shape. Do you guys understand my point? Or am i being a little bit too complicated here... *Btw, i am not too sure whether the plaplates are strong enough to withstand joint movement* Second idea:the simpler one... The tubes behind the joint will need to be removed and replaced with wire mesh kind of tube. the flexible one, like the one on the zaku. This tube will be linked somewhere near to the green part. Some modification needs to be done above the blue part to allow the tube to "slide" into the hollow area there whenever the joint is turned. This *might* provide a better artuculation for this kit... In the end, I feel that combining both will yield the best results. Anyways, this is just some rough ideas based on what i have seen so far. Btw, any of you sifu's know where i can get that kind of wire-mesh tubes? This post has been edited by WaytoDawn: Dec 17 2007, 04:46 PM |

I did take the armour into consideration. It dosen't seem to be hindering the joint in my point of view*litreally* As the side parts don't seem to get stuck at the thigh area. The only possible problem may be the transforming part at the lower leg but that shouldn't be a problem if i use the first idea. Anyways, nothing much we can do until we get the kit...
