My sink is clogged. I tried the DIY method, (baking soda, hot water, detergent, magic solution). It works a while then it clog again. I checked the underneath and found the setup as in the picture, which is different from what i google😅. I was trying to make the water flow by moving the yellow tube..and accidentally pull it. So, the water flows...but when i attach it back, the problem remain. Now, it takes forever to drain it. So, the issue should be on the blue highlighted..but how do i fix that? Anyone, please share some advices..

You need to adjust this. Water from sink flow down then suddenly have to flow upwards 2 big red arrow flow down then suddenly have to flow up. This area should be flat to the drain outlet This post has been edited by jetblast: Nov 29 2022, 08:35 PM

That flexible hose shouldn't be there at all. It's acting as a gravity trap for your sink waste. Remove it.

check if the flexihose not clogged. if clogged just replace new one. very cheap. if not clogged. problem might be inside that wall (if those pipes really clear)

The discharge flow setup is a failure. I see it more of a 'rollercoaster' flow. The flexi stretchable tube is not meant for food waste discharge as clogging is sure bound to happen.

The problem is inside that wall. The flexihose and pipes are all clear, we cleaned and tested it. But, the sink still clog. At this stage, i have to call the plumber🥺 to unclog then change the setup🥲 This post has been edited by Smilycat: Dec 5 2022, 08:25 AM

If u have an air compressor, make a cap as a seal and turn it on. It will blow whatever is in the wall back to the sewage pipe.

see at the back of your house if there is drain cover.. usually u can see the flow of the water from sink and drain there. if no water or slow flow most probably fats stuck in there (inside the wall to outside discharge).. buy good acid and pour it there, those cheap one at mr diy is useless. or buy a drain snake and jolok.. my house have the same issue
