Recently just bought a 2nd hand Magic Trackpad 2 for my Mac Mini..

wondering what differences for Magic Trackpad v2 VS Magic Trackpad v3?

btw, what does force click do?
any1 using Magic Trackpad here?

Hi, hope my info help., if it is wrong please correct me :

Gen 1 : Used 2 AA Battery, need plat surface to detect click (2 rubber below sense clicking)

Gen 2 : Internal battery with lighting charging, is a force touch (Taptic engine) sensor, mean no moving part, entire trackpad glass surface has pressure sensor, just like Macbook after 2015.

Gen 3 : Enhanced bluetooth connection, slightly rounded design, enhanced connectivity when using with M series processor Mac.

Force touch is when you do extra effort to click on certain things.

I haven't fully explored it but I usually use it to
-rename files,
-sneak into a link; for example you read forum/news site, force touch a post to preview whats inside the link.
