Hi all, have anyone gotten any news on the new Yaris that is going to come in Malaysia? Watched some YouTube videos on the new Vios coming into Malaysia possibly 1H 2023.

How about the hatchback version (Yaris)? Checked on Google, it's rumoured to be rebadged new Myvi. If that's the case and if it's going to be assembled in Perodua plant, wouldn't it be better to go for Myvi then, given the conditions if minimal differences as of Alza vs Veloz.

since our yaris shape is not same as yaris jp (some country rebrand as mazda demio 2023)

So far, there is no news on a new Yaris that is based on the latest DNGA Vios. If there is one, it should be around 2023 in Thailand and 2024 here in Malaysia.

I would think UMW will try to milk it out first by initially selling it as Toyota Yaris. After a year or two, then sold as Myvi.
