The phrase if your eyes or hand cause you to sin was repeated in Gospel of Mark as well confirming its validity.

Even the BIble says to offer your body as a living sacrifice. Meaning any part of your body can be an instrument to either glorify God or sin against God.

Romans 6:13 (New Living Translation) -
Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

Let me share a bit on lust and pornography.

It is one thing to entertain pornographic material but it's another matter to engage in prostitution.

If you have visited and engage with prostitute, you need to repent.

If you have done this, you have opened door or gateway for demonic spirit to have legal rights over your life.

And you wonder why you're exhibiting Bitterness, Sarcastic, Hatred even for another human being.

Christ Jesus has call us to love one another.

The Bible has called us Christian to be kind with one another.

If you are in the realm of darkness, you will exhibit Bitterness, Sarcastic, Hatred, Lust, Arrogance, Pride, Rebellion, Jealousy, dissensions, factions, etc.

If you are in the realm of Light, you will exhibit love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Based on these 2 traits, people will know whether you belong to God or the devil.

And for those who don't know, in the behind scene operating such sinful traits are demonic spirit intruding in the person's life.

The Bible states only with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, one is sealed like a guarantee deposit for Salvation.

Prior to Christ death and resurrection and until the Holy Spirit was sent, how could they be saved as in Christians today?

Sorry but I disagree that Judas was saved. There is a difference between Holy Spirit coming on them for them to perform miracles vs coming in them for indwelling.

Not only apostles, but even the prophets of the Old Testament, who are lower than apostles, had a degree of presence of Spirit in themselves, through Whom they prophesied (needn't to give references, for they are so numerous!).

In the New Testament, Elisabeth, John the Forerunner's mother, was filled with Spirit as she saw the pregnant Virgin, and she prophesied immediately (Luke 1:39-41) and so did the old widow-prophetess Anna at vision of Jesus taken to the temple (Luke 2:36-38); John the Forerunner himself was filled with Holy Spirit from his childhood (Luke 1:15), and of course the apostles, even before the Pentecost, had a degree of presence of Spirit in them (at least no less than John the Forerunner), through which presence they could act miracles; they got even to a greater degree of intensity the gift of the Spirit, when Jesus - before the Pentecost - blew in them the Spirit and added to them (through this new dimension of the presence of Spirit) an ability to forgive sins (John 20:22).

Thus, the Pentecost is the culmination, the ultimate gift of Spirit, when the apostles get Him to such an extent and intensity that they can already be emboldened by Him to preach to all corners of the world, withstanding all calamities and opposing powers. However, of course, the apostles had smack of the Spirit even before, for even before Spirit was present in them to a certain degree and intensity; they possessed the Spirit-ual gifts even before the Pentecost, however the gifts of the Infinite Spirit are also infinite and at the Pentecost they got a greater share of this graceful infinity, so as to totally be absorbed in it.

The Holy Spirit does not stay outside.

In the OT and Prior to Christ resurrection, many of God's people has this phrase recorded;

"Being filled with the Holy Spirit." That is the H.S. coming on the person. That is different from indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Scriptures is very clear about salvation whether it's in the Old or New Covenant.
It's by faith in God.

Hebrews 11 is clear.

And Romans 4

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
