Mecha that takes its name from Astraea, a goddess of justice. In order of succession, it is an Exia proto-unit but at this point in time, it's a general purpose mecha and not a close combat-use unit. How this machine evolves is very interesting.

Exactly my thoughts when the Exia was first revealed to have 7 blades. Come on, there's only two hands to carry two blades, so just carry two will do.  No point sticking them in the backpack if you're not using them.

If they want more beams, they should have made it like the Aegis or IJ where the additional two blades stick out from the legs.

What next? Dynames with 9 rifles? Virtue with 5 bazookas? Or maybe the Kyrios will get a DRILL
from gunota.

Have a look at the prototype Exia called the Astrea. Same stuff, just a recolour and slightly different parts.

Suddenly, I feel that the Exia's head is similar to the one in Ecole du Ciel... shockingly similar. Not that it causes any problems though
