he has more potential to be shin rather than kira considered the background....but i still think he becoming anything that involved with military is kindda far fetched, his role and several others around him serve as a medium to show how CB actions,whether it is for the more beautiful and peaceful world or the other way around, affects the innocent and neutral bystanders and civilian.

somme of you stated on whats the point of it?shouldn't they just replace them with some random civilian?
the reason is simply to make you feel attached to this character so that you will understand more about their viewpoint and their suffering....
will you feel sorry if a random civilian that appeared like 3 second screen time got killed by the gundam???

even if saji did become much more of a major role in this war, he'll probly become much like relena in wing.....venture into politics rather than the battlefield..... but that seems far fetched also.... ....
