As in the title says.. how you guys fix touchpad issue? I've tried updating my driver and it says I've update to the latest version.. for regedit I've tried HKEY for windows system and can't find EnableCursorSupression (I refer youtube for this).. is it hardware issue? is there any other way?
my laptop brand is TOSHIBA model Satellite L840 run on Windows 7 Home Premium i5 - 3210M CPU @ 2.50 GHz RAM : 4GB System type : 32 bit OS Processor : Intel ® Core

If on your trackpad, there's a dot indicator, double tap it, likely trackpad function is locked.

Not working like how?
Totally no function? Bad response to double click or dragging?
Since the laptop is old, there is a likelihood that the touchpad is failing mechanically.
