Nikon did a good job in attracting a lot of entry level photog. These segment of customers are the driving force which caused the D200 shortage (up to 8 mths after launch), 50mm shortage (I once sold a used 50mm for RM400), 18-200mm shortage (3-4 mths waiting period).
