Hi guys , does anyone settled with buzzing Noise from ceiling fans? It is very uncommon for me as 5 of my total 6 KDK ceiling fans facing this problem. Is just ceiling fans issue or my house wiring issue or voltage unstable? Is this worth to be fixed? or just buy new one instead? If buy a new one, any brand/model recommended?

Have to dismantle whole thing, take out the board and replace capacitor - only cost a few RM each but you need a soldering iron.
I ended up replacing the fans that did this as eventually it would happen again after a few months and it was a hassle taking down the fans each time
But if you replace the fan, you still need to take down the old one, and put up the new one. How is this different from taking down the old one, repairing it, and then putting it up again? Just a bit of extra time vs a lot more cost of a new fan.
Edit: Actually, unless it is a bearing change, I don't take down the fan. I just take out the PCB of the fan. After all, the PCB is accessible from the bottom.

The new fans I replaced with didn’t have this issue crop up again so didn’t have to do the repair multiple times .. maybe the repair didn’t last long as my soldering skills are crap

Oh okay. If the problem doesn't repeat with the new fans then it makes sense. Plus you get new fans!
