Received an offer from HLB on their Graduate Trainee program.Is their GT program like teaching one or based on project? How's the work culture like?

I think starting pay is rm6k, alot of amois yes and quite cina. Dont think they rotate u into IB, at most corporate banking, which is quite prestigious already

fresh grade, degree holder x amount, master degree x amount, all fixed
if you have experience and they want you, then can nego a bit

you go to various dept and work for few weeks/months and learn everything

if good you get promoted or whatever after few years if you can perform, there are few steps to climb from trainee to manager level

I already have a current job but it isnt a trainee program. They just throw you into the water and expecting you to swim. I am hopinh that the Hong Leong program would at least train and teach you. I dont care about salary that much

banking is bad for low level, they like to lowball basic salary with a promise that you will get bonus every year without fail, and whenever other company want you, they have to buy out or need to wait up to 3 month which is a turn off for most company

while i think other company gives most of us better basic package even without bonus, one of the bank perks that i kinda jelly is medical coverage for spouse and child, that you will eventually get if you stay on your job industries for a while and jump/hop to a better company

i think got 2 separate HLB programmes..management trainee and graduate trainee. management - 5k (my time) and graduate is 3k.
