Oh, thanks for telling.
Asset based solution (company's name) is NOT asset based Securities (products) that is under the purview of SC.
In that case, it may not be actually operating under asset based securities requirements of the SC.
Perhaps trying to fool people. Just proven I got fooled too.

Perhaps a new spin off of the previous "cash fund" products being offered by the Trust companies....where it was said to be asset based investment too. (Asset does not meant only properties).
Now maybe because of actions taken by the authorities on the offering of those "cash fund" after some press highlights, they changed to avoid the direct mention of cash fund like investment.

Mind elaborating what is "backed by SSM" means?
Is SSM gonna fulfill what that company failed in its promises to you?

What is the locking period of your money?
Are there any penalty if you need to withdraw suddenly next 2 months?

Whatever the scheme it is, they are not backed by SSM.
SSM does not back any scheme.

Something like the previous "Cash trust funds" that got into the limelight ... last year.

I think that was a contract of agreement or something like that between the company and the person putting in the money.

Did not specific in the copies that I got from the net...thus unable to confirm with trust company.

if 0.10% daily = 0.10 x 365 days = 36.5% pa


if 0.15% daily = 0.15 x 365 days = 54.75% pa

If my guesstimation are right, ...different product and different company than what TS mentioned, ...especially the mentioned "Daily profit about 0.10-0.15%."

My guess is they are operating like the previously (last year) hotly pushed "cash trust" finds....until they stopped promoting it after the scheme was exposed in the press.

To me, it is the same modus operandi...just under different name and packages

Luckily you posted this now, if you had posted this 6 months earlier, some may suggest you a company that had been operating since 2009, has a 2.2 million memberships and has a 10 billion AUM..
Put in 1k usd, get back that 1k usd 1 year later.
Let the balance ride n roll over for another 10 years, ....you will get 1 million usd then. No need to put in anymore money, no need to do anything.

But now, they dare not suggest that company already....

i believe some would be interested to know more by themselves before PM you for more details about that investment talk.
they may prefer to "research" more about it without being subjected to "pressure sales" while at the investment talk, or go there unprepared in advance as of what to ask.
thus i believes it would be beneficial for them if you could details more about your company in the open here.

just in case,...the investor really needed the money after deposit but before the 1 year lock in period expired, ....he cannot withdraw or they allowed withdrawal but subject to penalty fees?
if the deposit is subjected to penalty,...how many % will be deducted?

I think, some would also keen to know what that company invested in with the money. As the more than 36% pa returns is very high. They maybe doubt the sustainability of the payout.

Is there documented evidence that that product is really from Yong Tai Berhad?
That company that offer that scheme may just be a subsidary. Thus not much direct legal implications to YongTai Berhad if a subsidiary were to close down.

Did Yong Tai Berhad sign any documents directly with YOU?

If your agreement are made with that subsidary or your payment are made to that subsidary....Go chase after the subsidary, not Yong Tai Berhad.
