So I've been working in this call centre job for almost a year now and I am currently looking to apply out. I am applying out because of the rotational shift matter where I couldn't really stand it. Though there are shift allowances, my body seemed to not able to cope working till the early mornings.
My next choice and plan is to apply for a job that's either day shift or one that allows me to WFH. I would prefer working from home or working remotely. However a lot of of WFH jobs either don't pay very well or they are very scarce in existence.
Any other places I can look for remote jobs that's not Indeed, Jora Jobs, or one of those dodgy platforms like freelancer and Upwork?

That's weird, normally remote jobs then to use brains more and will therefore pay more. And WFH is not as easy as u think.

Not easy to get remote/WFH jobs unless you are in the IT industry. IT industry nowadays is going through cuts as well. You can still try to look at Jobstreet. Some of the jobs posted offers WFH.

QUOTE(MoneySolve @ Jan 14 2023, 11:47 PM) What is your definition of "not pay well"? How much is well? Well enough meaning to say = can pay for rent and bills, expenses, savings. Not the kind of pay where you can only afford rabbit food pay. QUOTE(Truth Angel @ Jan 15 2023, 10:00 AM) That's weird, normally remote jobs then to use brains more and will therefore pay more. And WFH is not as easy as u think. Whether if its remote jobs / WFM or in-office work, they all require brains in their own kind. And no WFH isn't exactly as hard as you think as I've been working remotely since late 2019. Then again every job has their own complications and difficulties.
