QUOTE(DarkNite @ Nov 16 2022, 06:42 PM) sorry, i mean bigger battery capacity so BYD already leave panasonic behind? even gs yuasa also joining in EV battery bandwagon. wait, is it BYD or CATL? This post has been edited by zerorating: Nov 16 2022, 06:48 PM |

Looks good. Clean and minimalistic.
However, Toyota and VW have strong sales in Europe which could explain why only Honda (struggling in Europe) seem to genuinely care about Malaysian market. Don't expect it to come cheap. Expect it to be poorly specc-ed too with undesired parts dumped in this region, such as the footbrake. |

QUOTE(zerorating @ Nov 16 2022, 06:51 PM) not going to be here of course, with our excise duty, it will be damn expensive. The only chance we will get the new Prius here is if Thailand decide to CKD it. Then we might get CBU Thai which the price wont be as high as CBU Japanironically thailand hybrid can enter our country just fine. |

They failed with CH-R but succeeded with the overpriced Harrier. Maybe from the sales of the new Honda hybrids, if they already see the trend that Malaysians are more open-minded towards hybrids, as long as it is fast, practical and without range anxiety of pure EV, Malaysians might overlook the price premium and resale value. If the car gets good reviews from overseas reviewers, it might be a safe gamble to just bring them here as Japan CBU. MaybachS600 liked this post
